Sporting Muzzle Brake, 223, 1/2 x 28 threads, Black

New, CNC machined from 416 stainless steel, this sporting model muzzle brake is very effective on 22 center fire rifles (all of them). The more gas a cartridge has, the more effective the brake is.  Barrel threads are 1/2 x 28. The finish is  the matte black, very durable, Ion Bond finish.

It reduces the recoil impulse by 70% and reduces the muzzle rise by 90%. The outer diameter is 1.000, length is 2.130 but only increases the barrel length by 1.510. The sporting model of muzzle brake can be contoured to the barrel by a competent gunsmith.

Never use a crush washer with a muzzle brake, use a shim kit. Follow the installations to correctly mount the muzzle brake.

The weight of the 22 cal brake is 2.8 ounces. Available finishes are, Black “ion Bond”, raw stainless, bead blasted stainless, and cera coat colored finishes for an additional cost.
