Services

At VCG we do not only provide the most groundbreaking attachments but also provide various services mentioned below to further assist our clients.

Barrel Threading

At VCG we can thread the barrel of many different types of firearms, all barrel threading is done centered off of the bore, not the outside of the barrel, all threading is lathe, single point thread cut. If your barrel is less than 21 inches in length, we will have to remove it from the receiver to thread it.

Prices vary depending on the complexity of the job. A couple examples, (1) an unmounted rifle barrel 9" - 30" long, (2) a remington 700 barreled action with a 22' barrel, cost would be the same for both at 150.00.

Another example, other end of the spectrum, an ak-47 with a 16 inch barrel, wanting the barrel shortened to 14.5", threaded, and pin / weld the muzzle brake in place. Job goes like this, remove front sight base, remove gas block, remove rear sight block, remove barrel from receiver, cut, crown, and thread muzzle, contour barrel to accept front sight base. Then press on rear sight base, gas block, front sight base, press barrel back into receiver, install pins in reciever, rear sight base, gas block, cut new pin seat in barrel for front sight base, install pin. Then install muzzle brake, pin and weld. Cost for this job would be 400.00

Simple barrel threading jobs include, any unmounted rifle barrel, AR-15 / AR-10, Ruger 10-22, Savage models with barrel nut, most rifles with barrels longer than 21" etc. cost 150.00

When in doubt it is better to send an e-mail, with details, for a quote.

This service is provided ONLY to customers who purchase our muzzle brakes.

Pinning and welding Muzzle Breaks

The National Firearms Act of 1934 (NFA) legally defines and regulates the possession of different types of firearms and according to the NFA, any rifle with a barrel under 16 inches in length and an overall gun under 26 inches is considered to be a Short Barreled Rifle. Civilians are not allowed to possess an SBR unless they register it with the ATF and the process to do so is by filling out Form 1 and paying a $200 tax stamp or they will be in violation of federal law, which is punishable with up to 10 years in federal prison and up to $10000 of fines. A workaround to both the AOW and SBR law is by permanently having a muzzle device attached to the barrel and this is done with the muzzle brake, or muzzle device" pined and welded to the barrel.

Ion Bond Coating for the Guns

Your life can depend on your firearm and this means that your gun needs to perform reliably. Especially firearms purchased for home protection, and conceal carry and is used by the military plus law enforcement. Ionbond delivers on this by adding a super durable coating of PVD that is black, or Ceracoat that comes in multiple color options. Ion Bond is for stainless parts only. The low friction DLC Coating provides excellent dry lubrication properties to all the moving internal and functional parts to ensure a greater level of security against wear and greatly reduces the chance of the firearm being jammed when you need it to perform.
