Sporting Muzzle Brake, 30 cal, 5/8 x 24, Ion Bond(black)

New, CNC machined from 416 stainless steel, this sporting muzzle brake is effective on 30 cal rifles in calibers from 300AAC blackout to 300 ultra magnum. The more gas a cartridge has the more effective the brake is.

The barrel threads are 5/8 x 24, the finish is the very durable, matte black, Ion Bond finish.

It reduces the recoil impulse by 70% and reduces the muzzle rise by 90%. The outer diameter is 1.000, length is 2.130 but only increases the barrel length by 1.510.The weight of the 30 cal brake is 2.8 ounces. The sporting model muzzle brakes can be contoured to match the barrel (choose the unfinished model), by a competent gunsmith.

Never use a crush washer with a muzzle brake, use a shim kit. Follow the installation instructions to correctly mount the muzzle brake.

Available finishes are, Black “ion Bond”, raw stainless, bead blasted stainless, and cera coat colored finishes for an additional cost.
