Shorter by .300 than the Tactical Blast Shield, but just as effective at redirecting the sideways blast and pressure wave, towards the target. Models are caliber specific because our suppressors use the same thread and locking shoulder. 6.5/ 30 cal., Black Ion Bond Finish.

New, CNC machined from 416 stainless steel. This device threads over a 6.5mm or 30 caliber tactical muzzle brake and takes the sideways blast from the muzzle brake and redirects it towards the bullet path. Finish is the matte black, very durable, Ion Bond finish. This is the “standard” model of blast shield, we also make a “tactical” model
This device is appreciated by nearby shooters, swat and other “tactical” team training participants, anyone shooting in a enclosed area, etc.
The length of the blast shield is 2.360, weight is 5.0 oz.
The barrel length for the blast shield increases by 1.550, (Finishes, as noted, apply to all VCG products) (Blast shield and muzzle brake together weigh 9.2 0z)
Our blast shields only fit on our tactical models of muzzle brakes. The outside diameter threads of our tactical muzzle brakes are caliber specific, so please order the correct brake and blast shields. (special orders can be considered, please email your request)
Installing the blast shield does decrease the effectiveness of the muzzle brake.
