Tactical blast shield, 6.5mm / 30, ion bond finish

New, CNC machined from 416 stainless steel, this tactical blast shield threads over our tactical muzzle brake and takes the sideways blast from the muzzle brake and redirects it towards the bullet path.  This model fits our 6.5mm and 30 caliber tactical muzzle brakes. The tactical blast shield is the “mean big brother” to our standard blast shield. It is .300″ longer and has “teeth”, that can be used as a breeching implement or stand off device.

This device is appreciated by shooters at the next shooting bench over, and is very useful to police / swat in building clearing and  training. Without a blast shield the side blast from a brake can bounce back off of a close wall, toward the officer, reducing their situational effectiveness. With a blast shield installed all the noise and concussive effects are directed towards the target.

The length of the tactical blast shield is 2.660, and the weight is 5.0 oz, length of the blast shield is 2.360, weight is 5.0 oz.

The outside diameter threads on our tactical muzzle brakes are caliber specific. That is done because our brand of suppressors use the same threads and locking shoulder( and we want to avoid mounting a 223 suppressor on a 308 rifle), so please order the correct products.
